While they're certainly not something I'd classify as "cake" I'm sure it's perfeclty possible. Anything more powerful though and you're going to need a template, a lot of luck, or at least a signifficant amount of patience.

soloed a canyon krayt the other day..omfg that took forever, at least a half an hour.

Juvi's witha Power Hammer take around 20 seconds.
Canyons... A long time 
Don't even bother with the rest.

Few tips for killing Kraytes. Always keep intimidate and CoB on, it makes a HUGE difference. You should be able to counterattack many many attacks.
For some numbers. Juvis do 745-1200dmg. After mitigation 3 its 745-907. Intimidate will half that(haven't tested, but heard). Thats now 372-453. Add in there 36% Toughness, 80% Kin Armor and you should be unhit MINIMUM 1/3 of the attacks via misses and counterattack.
So basically at master with buffs and armor you should be fine. The only problem you might run into is killing your mind through HAM cost, which is why I suggest a Hammer instead of a Scythe. And always have some Steak on hand incase things get sticky, though against a Juvi its pretty easy with all that going for you.

Anyone try and solo juve Kryt's. Just sit back and mind hit and then headhit3 till they drop. I wonder if it will work?

I can kill a juv krayt in under 2 minutes using head hit3. My record is 1 minute 41 seconds. They are cake.

only one i ever tried was a giant canyon kryat kept's kd/dizzying me everynow and again but did no damage and i was wearing only50%-60% kincompo did have 2.47-2.54k buffs though. going to try juveniles now then i think if there cake

i would love to just hunt juvi's, i always have trouble finding them though. What is the best strat? follow a group hunting krayts, and just wait for a juvi to pop, hopefully taking it while they are distracted by bigun'? Everytime i see a juvi, it spawns with a big one.

counterattack does not work on high-level mobs. I've stayed CoB'd the entire fight against nightsister elders, giant dune kimos,and canyon krayts and never once have they missed me, and never once have i counterattacked. so now i just dont bother with CoB against them, just make sure they stay intimidated and with 80% special protection comp they cant scratch you.
