Thread: dont flame me

right now im using a power hammer with 142-453 dmg or so with 3.3 speed. thats without powerups and its taking forever to get exp. im at dath doing baz missions and i milk all the lairs for all the baz's beofre killing the lair. im at 1-0-0-1 and i have been there for like 3-4 hours. most peeps say that it is easy to do swordsman so i think im doigns omething wrong. plz reply

What is the best weapon to grind up to swordsman with these days? Just wondering...

bah, man what should i do, im 1-0-0-1 and i got a good power hammer where do i go on endor and what do i call etc plzzz help

im sorry but ive looked everywhere and i cant seem to find the mastering swordsman topic. i was jsut wondering if someone could give me the link or what i should put my points into first and where i should hunt at certain times. i got it froma holo but have always wanted to do it and now i gots a reason to! =p

Start with the Finesse and Techniques lines...head hit is your best attack. After that get AOE, works great when taking on large mobs.

I used speed sliced powerhammers the whole grind. Used a 2 hand curved on lairs.
I primarilly leveled on Dantooine by hunting picket lairs. Get a good suit of armor, some buffs, and brandy and go to town.

Pretty much anything on endor should give you good experience...I did my grind mostly on yavin, taking tybis missions until I could do klikniks.
One 3-4 hour session...and you've gotten an entire box of the combat xp line? that's not that slow...It took me a few weeks of a few nights a week doing 3 hours at a time running missions, and then a few days of just going all day to master it. It sounds like your pace is just fine. Probably shouldn't compare it to some other professions you've gotten as holos, I'm sure some are just ridiculously fast.

best way i found was hunting with a friend who was also grinding on dantooine doing any creature lair we could find till techniques 4 then do savage quenkers there 6.9k payouts and once you've got 1400 in swordsman your sworted cause you got most of the speed and then you can work up offense with area attack where you just target th elair and spam area attack and your get acrap load of xp but till then just do savage quenkers on dant using the head hits you'll get from the technique line as you go

i mastered heavy swordsman with a 173-303 1.9 speed scythe and a max 564 powerhammer doing crimson blurrg missions, i was a master combat medic at the time so bar the fact that i poisoned the hell out of the tought mobs in the game and then used mind hit 3 to wear them down with 80% comp on.
