Thread: UBER AA or just crap?
Now, as I understand it, the speed will not even take effect due to bugs with these kinds of attachments. Is the +25 Evasion useful? If so what would this be worth. I know economies differ on servers but just an estimate in case I decide to make an offer. Thx.
The evasion will be the only one to work, and doesn't do anything at all.
If the devs do get around to revising SEA's it may be worth a lot more.
Currently I'd estimate 5 million, but only from those who are hopeful enough about them being fixed.
If it gets fixed I can see that going in the 15 million range.
I read a thread about CA/AAs the other day (I just tried to find it) and it said that there was a chance that if you put a +1 into an item of the one that you want to negate that it was possible that the second one would show up on the item.
Example:
You've got that AA and you find a +1 Two-Handed Evasion and stick it in an Ubese shirt. So the shirt has +1 Two-Handed Evasion and then you dump the AA in the shirt. The +1 Two-Handed Evasion negates the +25 Two-Handed Evasion and then the +23 Two-Handed Speed goes through (atleast that's what it said).
If you wanted you could try that, It'd probably increase the value of the AA by a *huge* amount if it worked. And technically if it didn't you could hold the shirt and hope they fixed the stacking problem with SEAs. Either way you're a winner, that's an excellent AA if you can get it to work.
however in this case it will not work if dropped in say a ubese shirt since its the lower of the 2 mod's.
i dont know if the trick described above will work, but if it did you have an amazing shirt/belt (please for the love of god only use a ubese shirt belt) if not just hang on to it with the evasion in hopes it does work

i tried that with a +15 group terran negotiation/+13 2 hand spd and a +1 group terrain.
didn't work at all.
the group terrain worked.
highest mod always goes in - no matter what you have heard

UPDATE: Well, the workaround was attempted with a ubese shirt for this AA. Put a +1 2H evasion in first. Then put this AA in. Results......a +25 2H evasion ubese shirt
D'oh. The workaround only works if the SEA you place first has a higher rating than the mod on the SEA you're trying not to use—in other words, you would have needed a +26 Two-Handed Evasion AA for that to work. /comfort
Example:
You've got that AA and you find a +1 Two-Handed Evasion and stick it in an Ubese shirt. So the shirt has +1 Two-Handed Evasion and then you dump the AA in the shirt. The +1 Two-Handed Evasion negates the +25 Two-Handed Evasion and then the +23 Two-Handed Speed goes through (atleast that's what it said).
end
That doesn't always work. I've tried it with a SEA that was Cover +4/2 Hand speed +3. The cover showed because it was higher. Found another cover SEA, dropped in same item and the cover stayed.
Just FYI.
Mm hm. It gets pretty detailed, depending on which modifier is listed first, which is higher, et cetera…but to be absolutely sure you have to use an SEA with a rating higher than that of the mod you don't want to use on the multi-mod SEA. I.e. if you have a +10 Two-Handed Counterattacks / +5 Two-Handed Speed you would need to use a +11 or better Two-Handed Counterattacks SEA to be sure of getting the speed mod to show. Also, once socketed there is nothing you can do to change which mod is in use. All you can do is overwrite that mod with a higher one.
