Hi all. I'm a master ranger and novice swordsman on Bloodfin. I'm a swordsman 0111 right now, and moving along nicely.
I'm a bothan and my ham is currently set around 800 health, 1000 action, and approx 900 mind, or so. What is important to a swordsman? Can I lower my action and raise my mind more? ANd if so, should I focus on focus, or willpower?
Thanks for the help.

k well heres the deal u need to set ur stats how u feel they should be, me personally i feel that i work best with having my stats set up for being a buff wh0re (same with Daz) i have dropped all my Health and Action stats all the way down and allocated my Mind Pool to 1000, my Focus (first secondary) to 1000 and my Willpower got the rest of the pts. i do this simply cause u cant buff mind, and with a brandy or 2 and a canape it is just about even with my other stats, also having high mind doesnt hurtwhen i powerboost.I chew through mind like there is no tommorow (area attacks eat mind) But the downside to this set up is i cant do anything with out gettin buffed first. there have been many times where i am unbuffed simply driving somewhere and i get killed by a mob that i have bad faction with cause i only have 400 hp and im not wearing my armor (cause without buffs u are even worse off with ur armor on). But in the end u need to figure out what will work for u

Hmm, i visit daily master dancer/musican for complete mindbuff...last both for ~2h and boosting my mind-stats(mind/focus/willpower) by +109%....i dont know what u are talking about...but anyway...since only jedi/cm can heal the mindpool its sure good to max. them out cuz health and action could be healed simply by using stimpacks...

400Health pools
400Action pools
1000 Mind
1100 Focus
1100 Willpower
I think?
Anyways, with a mindbuff, 2 brandys and a canape, its needless to say my mind pool is marginally bigger than the rest. It helps vs. mind spamming whores.

Chalk up another vote for 400 Health and Action (and all secondaries) and 1000 Mind (and secondaries). I always hunt with doctor buffs and either entertainer buffs or 2 brandies. So far it's worked out very well.

I agree with this setup, i usually get a mindbuff from a musician (which will then be +1000 to focus/willpower) resulting in an invulnerable mindpool (atleast i've not seen a single mind incap except when sparring with another player to give a doc free healing xp)

I'me a bothan and I set all my mind stats as high as they will go which isn't that high. Brandy and canape are your friend. You can really burn through that stuff quickly. I'me a doc too, so I always stay buffed cause it's easy to get ganked by a high lev mob when 3 or 4 specials will suck you dry.

And sadly enough I could read that sig almost as fast as I normally read. So I guess that research is well founded

Ignore all the people who're saying 1000 focus and willpower stats, and minimum action/health. They're human, and have the benefit of bugged secondary stats. No other race, bothans like yourself included, can get their mind stats like that. Humans have been able to raise their secondary stats to insane levels since a bug-fix early in the game that had to do with broken stat-migration issues.
I'm non-human, I've maxed mind, focus and willpower, and have 750ish health and action, minimum constitution and stamina, and the rest between strength and quickness (for special costs on the odd occaision I whack stuff unbuffed).
I also see a lot of non-human swordsmen with max focus/mind/willpower, and then split the rest of their points between Health and Action for hit points (e.g. they'll have 900/300/300 health stats, 900/350/300 action stats).
Geno.

Yeah the 400 to all health and action w/ 1000 to all mind is a sweet set up. With the 2 mind buffs 2 brandy's 3 ahriza your mind gets to like 3300 points. It's so nice.
