Ok, Im a Master Swordsman, TKM, and Master Brawler. Not much into PvP but this setup works pretty damn goodin PvE. As I was aimlessly searching for content in this game yesterday.. I wondered out to Endor to have a look around. During my enjoyable Whips quest travels earlier in the day I happened across a rather large spawn of Wraiths, blacksun henchmen, and a slew of Super Battle Droids.. mark wp and finish this Whip crap..

Anywhoo.. I figure its time to forget the XP grind and do other things. I travel back to my WP and I think it had babies while I was gone.. I have never seen such a huge spawn of different creatures in one spot before.. I had to make sure I wasnt in the DWB lookin at the sea of red dots around me lol..

Out of complete boredom I decided that I was going to solo an SBD, the wraiths, and the blacksun dudes.. The wraiths and the blacksun guys were pretty easy. The SBD was pretty easy too but it took forever... too bad I cant do electric damage.. I managed to draw a crowd of other players that were running by my area doin whips so they sat and watched the show for a while.

Bottom line, I LOVE my template for PvE and even though I wasted alot of time fighting only a few things, it was an enjoyable experience. Now off to find something else to solo.. on my wishlist - NS Elder, Gorax (never seen one), Tusken Observer, and maybe a Krayt for good measure.. here's to good times

I would have to agree, some of the most fun is going after the high end mobs. Doing the DWB the other day with 20=good times. I have the exact temp that you have, it works in PvP as well as PvE. Not as good as some temps, but i'm perfectly happy with it.

One fun high end mob is the ancient krayt dragons. The normal ones are ok, but if you can get an ancient one to spawn, ahhh good times right there.

Best bet is to do it now since everyone is working on Jedi stuff. Get a master ranger and see if you can track one down. On my server, we have a guild right next to the krayt POI, sucks too. Everytime one spawns, they come and steal it.

When i first started, we had a guild hunt for one. Some of the most fun i've had in-game is a huge group hunt like that. There's just not enough of it anymore.

Going sword was probably the second best thing I did, first was getting my MD. When I am not PvPing, which I actually hold my own in, I like high end hunting. I've killed some of the most difficult mobs, some solo, most with my wife who is a MD/TKM. I don't see swordsman as the end all of PvE, rather it's a good profession for high damage, nice area attacks/posture changes, a rather unique damage type -blast, and the ability to target the health or mindwhich makes it so valuable. Last night I was fighting a few Elders, and if not for the state heals and stim D, along withfull buffs and solid armor, Iwouldn't have made it out of there alive. Elders, GDK, Ancient Krayts, the Tusken Observer, DJK, and even the Gorax have a presence in my trophy room. Not to mention we have one of the hottest looking weapons in the game, the scythe.
