can i get some templete tips and tips for soloing a elder if im a caped swordsman plz thanks

heal yourself and you'll be fine
also, try to keep the thing intimidated
to intimidate efficient, without being kicked use

it'll let you 10 seconds to intimidate the opponent without getting hit
but I think the ability to heal yourself is an important factor here

First off - Since elders are generally surrounded by some protectors, spell weavers, and sentinals, FIRST thing you need to do is get the elder alone. How you do this is dependent on how the group is situated. If they are in a tight group, get about 45m from the group, hold your shift key so you walk, walk 1-2m, pause, see if anything agro's you, and repeat until you peel them off from the group 1-2 at a time. If the elder is alone, or with a weaver/sentinal, maybe a weaver and a sentinal, shouldnt have too much a problem taking the 3. But try to keep it down to as little agro as possible. As soon as something agrp's you, hit peace and start running away, til your about 70m from the group. Once you are a good ways away from the group, turn around and headhit the weaver/sentinal if thats whats tailing you. If its just the elder...INTIMIDATE it to h3ll...this is where master brawler kicks @ss heh. If you have an elder and 1-2 others comin at you, intimidate the elder 2-3 times that sticks, then switch to the others and head hit them to death. I personally only use intimidate on protectors and elders. Spell weavers and sentinals go down fast enough they arent too much a threat. Also, since you are solo, CHECK THE ELDERS WEAPON! This is very important, at my current template, if its an AP 2 weapon (Scythe, Powerhammer), its unsoloable to me, if if intimidated. So if im solo, and come across one with a scythe, i move on lookin for different one. Better to live and kill others, then to die and have to rebuff/heal battle fatigue.
Second - Soon as you are down to just an elder, spam intimidate til it sticks 2-3 times, then mindhit1, mindhit2, and headhit3. Just intimidate it ever 45 seconds if your not master brawler, and about 1 min 45 seconds if you are. Once it gets down to about 30k life, it will start to run away. Soon as it starts running away, spam taunt. Taunt keeps it from running. Once it has ran, and has been taunted, stay bout 10m from the elder and keep spamming headhit3. Staying 10m keeps it to where only the special moves the elder uses hit you, otherwise, your out of range its regular attacks. Then it dies.
Third - Loot it and either wait for another to spawn, or head out. wait 3-5min for another to spawn, if one hasnt spawned after that amount of time, pretty safe to assume the spawn is done.

I would say her weapon is the most important part of the soloing process, exmaine her while you are drawing her from spawn. If she has stun baton, vibro axe, scythe or power hammer......RUN!!!
Just thought I would touch on that subject again.

Completely agree, the weapon is the most important!!! stun = death , 2H weapon = good luck, others = yeah i'm lucky!!
Second important is bleed, they can be nasty without First aid
and third do not froget that you will get more oftena few Kcr than everything else as a reward!!!

The only elders I can't solo are the ones with stun bats. If I carried stun armor when I pve, I might even be able to take those on.
Spam intimidate2 while running away (I usually get 250m+ away from the spawn), and keep yourself healed. Then mindhit 1, mindhit 2, and headhit 3 with your acklay power hammer. (Mines 250-640 no pup, don't want to waste the durability) As long as you are swinging decently fast (<2.0) it will fall in under 15 minutes. If you bleed, stop what you are doing and heal them. If you can't heal bleeds, good luck. I use 2 brandy (428, 45 minutes, 50 filling), 1 synthsteak, and have canape and a muon ready. I use more synthsteak when needed (after she lands a 800+ special), and the muon once she gets down to 1/4 life and I need it. Equilibrium is awesome if your mind gets down really far. Once she starts to run, taunt her and keep up with headhit3. In case you are getting your ass kicked, switch to a stun bat or something and heal up. You are a lot harder to hit with a fencer weapon equiped. Then prey for good loot. I have been getting a LOT of credits lately

yea sadly she's dancing a lot and it's hard to see the weapon. elders with a stun baton = fast trip back to the outpost. other than her weapon you HAVE to be able to heal yourlself imo, some of those bleeds tick for 600+.... and get yourself 2 stacks of stims out. it's nothing for me to go thro 1 and a half before she dies.

The template I would try to describe is not so popular as with medic mentioned above.
Instead of having medic you might have smuggler ability to feign death (1 box in smuggler over novice)
With it you can solo any elder (it might take time though). Onceit took me about 1/2 hour (3 fd).
This ability also helps aggroed by the group normally would kill you and allow using spices without having risk to be killed on downer.
In addition you can get 0/0/4/0 at pistoleer - very nice defences.
Master brawler and Master swordsman must.
TKA at least 4/0/0/0 will simplify your life (no medic skills - remember)
All the left points you can spend either at fencer or tka to increase your defences.
Sadly I had to break this template to get trained with FS skills.
I found too late that actually you don't have to train useless boxes - you can unlock them and collect exp.
The cap is high (at least 4 mln I was told)
There is good post above which cover tactics.
Even with FD it is not recommended to run in the high level group.
Some more recomendations which I did not see covered:
Migrate your stat to get high mind stats.
Even with full dancer/music buf your mind is the weakest part.
Use BE brandy and food. Always have Pixie and Muon at toolbar but use them only when needed and what needed!
Findgood armor 70% base +with low (10%) stun defence.
And elders with stun weapon become solable too.
And get agood buf. Normally 2.4k stat is enough.
There is another thing to consider.
If you want kill fast you need to be capped on speed with your weapon and specials you are using.
FS melee may help. But with damage sliced hammers you mostly always would need to have some speed attachments. It is expensive to buy but it is a key too be a good swordsman.
Use damage calculator to know what weapon speed you needon the hammer in order to have max damage over time otherwise.
I think you got an idea.

P.S. This template has lower melee defenses withsomebonuses todefences agains KD etc, but provides higher safety than templates with medic.
P.P.S Hide your bikes they will be disabled if you feign death
