might want to try high lvl oppossing faction npc's. i looted a +4 combat med experimintation ca (still trying to sell btw /shamless plug off
) from a rebel npc on dantooine. i heard a rebel freind of mine saying he was looting some decent stuff from dark troopers and things. someone said that they gave a loot increase to the factional npc's, but its unconfirmed. still something to try out though.

I would have to say that I have found best luck with loots of skill tapes on Nightsisters. Or atleast better quality ones.

Aukuan Champion missions on talus.
get into a good solo group and then head for talus and milk the missions. highest they drop is like +6 or something. only Armor attachments btw.
Ppl say the jinda caves on endor are good, but id say most ppl hunt nightsisters. you can loot +25 off of elders (a snowballs chance in hell) or +10 thru +20 or so off the lower level nightsisters (much more likely to happen, still rare)
Aukuans definately have the highest attachment drop ratio though.
even tho mobs do drop the you still have very slim chance of the drop being what you want. so in the end sell what you do get and buy the one you want is the more realistic idea. thats what i do anyways

yea that what most ppl gotta do.
it pisses me off tho lol. a friend of mine switched from carbine to swords and on her second day of being a master swordsman loots an exceptional hammer!

Well thats the problem.. There are a number of places you can hunt for them. What I have noticed since the last publish is ALOT of the POI's are bone empty ALL THE TIME except for maybe once at server restart.. Something is screwed up with the spawns..
borgle bat caves on Rori and Blue Leaf Temple on Yavin are places I USED to go. For a while the borgle caves were 24/7 afk loot macro'd and you couldnt get squat EVER. been back to them recently and nothing was there and nothing ever spawned..
so in conclusion.. i have NO IDEA anymore! lol.. I do know that this topic is being covered in other forums pertaining to pub 10 bugs.
Hope this helps you

I've also noticed at these POIs that mag seals are often locked now. Is a Smuggler needed to open them? Before, I could usually just open them and get the stuff.

I've found some decent attachments off of the enemies on the Corvette. Some good dot/modded random weapons. Much easier to kill by myself as a master smuggler/swordswoman, once a rebel does an area attack, feign and watch them all turn to the SBDs that got hit.
Then just keep distance and wail on the enemy being attacked by the droids.
