Thread: How important are range mods on a power hammer?

For fun I had a weaponsmith craft me 3 power hammers using geo reinforcement cores crafted with base yellow cubes and agents. I then had him max out the damage and them sink everything else into the range. I ended up getting 3 hammers with 484 max damage and -17 to all range mods. On my server most hammers have -40 to there range mods. How big of a difference will this 23 point increase make?

Thx,

Shammus

pretty good difference. alot of hammers on gorath hav -30 range, I used to make a -15 that was said to hit a lot more often with regular components, and now there is a dude that has 0 range out. They help quite a bit. But, you can also just try it out your self and see.
