I have been doing elders and other high end mobs since this game started and i would only wear Gloves, Boots, Helmet, Chestplate and i would take the same damage as if i was wearing a full set of composite... But now today of all days,I go to datho and i amabout to clear out some ns so i can have acess to the elder and 6 intiates and 1 spell weaver jump on me and kill me. I have 90% armor and most of the time I fight like 3 spell weavers and 2 protectors and wat ever else comes at a time... Now i cant even hold my own with 6 intiates and 1 spell weaver... So like i said has any one noticed this??

Its happened to me, if i dont have all of my armor on, i usually get killed, sometimes i do, sometimes i dont. But its an armor hole issue of some sort, its been talked about before, I am not sure if the Devs did anything about it.

We were never meant to be able to get full protection from wearing just 4 out of 9 armor pieces. This 'reverse armor hole' bugfirst came about.. lessee.. when Wook armor (not sure which set) came out and the old 'armor hole' bug was fixed.
I haven't verified this myself, but if the reverse armor hole bug has been fixed.. oh well.. it was nice while it lasted.

Some of them may have had stun batons, you have to watch for that when fighting NS, those stun bats can be brutal, especially on an elder.
Otherwise maybe they just hit you harder than usual. They do have a damage range afterall.

Heh, I tangled with a stun elder this morning.
For all of 2 seconds.
For all of 2 seconds.

As of today I'm not having any trouble with just helmet, chest, gloves, and boots....unless they have a stun baton.

Bah!
You guys complain about Stun too much, never effected me, i use Quad stat (80% SP to Elec, Ener, Kine, and 10% SP to Stun, with 80 Base) Never hurt me that bad, i lost once out of the 3 times an elder had a Stun Baton, thats because i didnt have my Quad Stat, only standard Kinetic. If anything got serious, i would eat a Synth and heal up, and then just get back to dropping her.

Best thing to do is have a psg and armor with any stun resist, due to the fact that stun has no AP just wearing armor with 4% stun is enough to 1/2 the damage they deal out.
Anyway withpsg + 40% stun armor they are as easy as a wooden pole elder.

you have had to wear a full suit now for a couple a months they fixed that bug that was allowing us to get by with just gloves, helmet, chest and boots.

I agree, its really not that bad, its only bad when they use LS specials.

ya, if your armor has any stun protection at all you're much better off. The NS initiates have used stun battons the last 2 times I've gone to the forced labour camp. I only had 13% stun/80%kenetic and horrible 56% base and they never ever touched me. my ham would drop by maybe 13-56 depending on how many hit me at once. All in all they died too quick to really care.

Yeah I love when the NS elders with a stun baton use 1-handed lightsaber specials. With just helmet and chestplate with stun armor, I got hit in the boots for 1,500
