Thread: Stun Elder DEFEATED!!!

I quickly got tired of being REPEATEDLY murdered in the streets of cnet yesterday by a pikeman with a 700+str action fire lance so I decided to go elder hunting...
I pulled the first 2 no prob went down without too much hassle. The third I guess I had gotten complacent I didnt examine her but I quickly realized when in three hits I was staring at 1/4 health... luckily I still had my stun armor on me (usually I just run from stun elders) So I warcried her, healed myself and equipped my stun armor and a 47%base PSG as fast as I could and began to work on her... long story short 3 imp PSGs later (last one broke when she was at 1/5 mind or so
) and about 2k-3k condition loss to my 40-44%stun 80-85%base composite and she was finished 
Now after the first elder its all about loot but this episode was so reminicent of the struggle to get to being able to solo that first elder. I loved it This battle brought me back to the whole can you solo (insert name here) feeling and joy. I love to solo.. grrr... i dont want to turn this into a CB/SOE bashing thread.

A friend of mine who left the game gave it to me in the hopes that I'd go PvPing. I do but I still get crushed in PvP (read:I suck) I really need to sort out a new template for PvP but I still want my "uber"PvE temp lol.. i'm so not uber

The highest on Flurry is 39%
it can be done on flurry but requires a critcal success during the layer crafting.

Stun Elders have never really been too much of a problem, although some people are scared silly by them.

I guess you can do that.....
I havent used my At-St since the nerf where you can only have one Faction pet out.

Ive killed mult stun elders, not to big of a deal, im rifles / swords, all i do is kite them + if i get lucky enuf to peace them i pull out an atst(100% stun=elder pwned)

Im always overt, im a hardcore pvp'r, and yes they do, at the imp prison when i was doing missions as a noob, i dragged a tkm npc there (lol) and it like 1 hit it.
edit: Well i really shouldnt say dragged, more of ran for my life

They're only supposed to defend you against other players, too many people abused them for tanking krayt etc, the same thing is happening now with factional turrets

are you suggesting that using an AT-ST to attack a FACTIONAL turret is an exploit? You don't have to get the turret to attack it first, all you have to do is tell it to attack, and it will.
They are only allowed to attack faction items....any factional NPC, Overt players, turrets...
That's not what I meant, I meant that people are using Factional turrets like they were using AT-ST, people are placing factional bases in the krayt graveyard, pulling the krayt into the turret, area attack agros it, and the turret tanks, same idea.
