Thread: Tossing around a template idea

Master Swords/Doc 4xx3/tk x2xx/ pike xx4x
I'd have to stick with 2h weapons for the most part. But I'd get Intimidate (20% dmg reduction) and Improved warcry which is a speed debuff (40pts I believe).
I think this might be better as a 1v1 template change and not quite as useful for group pvp unless they make warcry and intimidate area effects like it's been suggested.
any thoughts?
(btw I don't think this would be lvl 80 but it really doesn't make much of a difference against players.

I guess its a good idea.
MSwords+Tk=is awesome defense and offense
Doc=awesome healing for soloing
Pike=you get warcry and intimidate
Good temp. but would replacing pike with MB be better?

that sounds like a very good template. only weakness i see is a non reliable kd in pvp. that can make a very big difference. also, you wont have much accuracy at all, might as well go prone and blow a kiss to defenders.

actually it did include master brawler too, left that out by mistake.

the KD is an bit of an issue, but from experience the KD seems to still work pretty well even not being advanced. Accuracy is a secondary issue mainly because of crispic and corellian ale that I use on a regular basis.

CoB is not as good as having area KD and the added accuraccy of getting more pikeman. I was looking at the same tempate as you but for the added general accuaccry of 50 and 10 general speed i went 4004 doc, 4441 pike and mswords. 1 v 1 you wont beed the advanced CoB because your opponent will be warcryed intimidated and stunned.

Cob is still IMO a must for any fight. What good is an Area KD if you are fighting 1v1 though? Even still I don't do just 1v1, I try and do just small scale skirmishes with maybe like at the most an 8v8 type of group. I'm still toying with this template a little bit but I have a feeling i'm going to go back to my last one.
