Hey fellow swordsmen. Ive been away for a bit and will be for a little longer I think. I moved to a new place and then found out that I cant get internet there without a lot of work, involving a bucket truck and hundreds of dollars. So thats fun...
Ive been keeping up to date with things reading the forums when I can. There is nothing new dealing with swordsmen that I havnt already passed on to you (is that new sword in now?!? Ill ask). I cant get into my test character right now because I cant update my game.
If you need anything please PM me, and ill get back to you ASAP.
Ive asked about armor break still being an issue, and will have someone pass any info along if im not available. hopefully Ill be back by the end of the week.

The main issue for me, aside from armourbreak and the new sword of course (
) Is the damage level of Swordsman - we're supposed to be the heavy hitter of the melee professions (such as there is now) yet TKM seems to have a better damage output with certain weapons.. Maybe that'd be an issue worth raising with the almighty when the opportunity presents itself.
Aside from that, I hope you manage to get settled in and are soon back to some semblance of normality Cos dear, moving is always a pain and the lack of constantinternet must be killing you

My biggest issue is the lack of a KD being a pure swordsman

ive got a hard copy of issues that im going to submit once i can test them. i like to check things right before i submit them.
id like to see berserk get a revamp. increase damage by a noticable amount, and maybe keep the berserk person from being rooted for the duration of the berserk. however it would lower defences or accuracy and prevent CoB from going off.

I agree with you on the Berserk issue, I rarely think to use it right now - CoB offers far more benefit than Berserk in real terms as it stands at the moment. Thinking of logistics though, someone in a berserk state would actually ignore/shrug off incoming damage better than someone who had full control of their mental state, wouldn't they? Just a thought... Accuracy/Defence penalty + Damage/Speed/Toughness (?) bonus would make Berserk far more appealing/useful, I think.
