Thread: whats swordsmans weapon of choice?

Jeff has a very low SAC with a damage around 1100, it's insane for pvp.
Also DPS is a borked equation, don't rely on it. You can slap on a speed pup and get insane dps but that doesn't mean you're weapon is good.
I believe what makes a weapons is.
SAC
Damage
Speed
Accuracy
In that order.
To prove my point I've beat plenty of people with a 409-820 Damage, 59 SAC (pup) baton. I use this constantly in most pvp switching over to MY BABYas required, which is getting rare and rare these days, tends to be aginst ranged with Scout armour on. Even with a SAC pup on the blade I still use my stun baton more and more. You go aginst a Jedi or fencer with sap on binding and you're in trouble to keep that action up with a hammer with SAC of 74.

Can't say i've come across any "holy grail" loot unfortunately. There is no ultimate weapon anymore. A sound strategy is to have 2 or 3 of similar type stats on a weaopn and just use different kinds of powerups/slices on them. The hammer I use almost exclusively right now is 1012 mx 94 sac (can't recall the spd, it's in the mid to high 2's for base) I put a sac pup on it and just spam away. I still havn't sliced it yet. It wasn't all that difficult to make, the only real loot item I needed was red geo cubes to reduce the sac and some base stat solidifying agent both which are relatively easy and common loots from the geo caves.
Acklay bones still have potential but it would take some seriously exceptional bones to make it worth it.
