Heh, I didn't even use a Curved Sword to grind. I've been a master swordsman TWICE and don't think I ever even owned one. I went straight from the 2-handed Axe to the Cleaver which I've always thought looks 10x cooler. I wanted to be a SWORDSMAN, not a NINJA! 
I grinded with my cleaver til i got the Techniques tree, then went with my 525-max, 4 speed Hammer to master. I know grinding with a hammer is supposedly a big no-no, but I was done in under a week. Really helps to hit for 2500-4000 damage per hit, even if it IS slow.

I have a 2h Curved sword that sits at a max damage of 603 Puped (Its named Shogun). I use it all the time especialy if Im just Grinding XP. No point in using a perfectly good Scythe or Hack for that matter unless your out hunting the big game.

i have an exceptional curved sword,
150 max damage
15 to intim
12 to terrain neg
DOT
852 strength (health poison)
247% pot
450 secs duration
12k uses
/beam. shame its about to ne nerfed

i use a 2h curved sword alot. I found a clientside mod to make it a lightsaber too
i cant remember what mine is off hand..but im bidding on one that is almost 500max dmg

Why dont you just use that sword up as much as possible adn let the Dot's run out. You know how many jedi you can make miserable with that thing. But yeah I fell you on what CURB is going to do to us. I am just stockpilling loot right now so when the cold days of CURB come i can be set.

I had Jarveth custom make it for me out of some 151 max dam rancor teeth that I looted. I was FS grinding to stack speed and got lucky.Then took it to my favorite smugg ying' and got a 32% damslice. I put the AntiDecay Kit myself seeing that I make a grip off money off loot and bought a couple. This is all in Bria by the way.

shame ya cant get the min damage higher on these things!

I use the Two-Handed Curved Sword and Cleaver almost exclusively, unless I'm fighting stuff with high kinetic resists.
I don't know the stats, but I have one damage and one speed sliced curved.
They are great weapons, looks really cool when I'm meditating, and if I zoom in on the sword I can see the grain, and the wavy silver line common on Japanese-style swords.

Ive never really found a 2 hand sword that i feel comfortable with to be honest,if anyones here from farstar and knows of a good place for such weapons give dawy a tell ingame

yes, thats correct waldo, you can make some very nice swords with good rancor teeth (krayt tissue isfor ranged stuff only)- for example on my fencer character on flurry i have a 1 handedcurved sword which is player made and 372 max damage after a slice - ive seen some 294 max damage 2h swords on farstar, but im guessing with very good rancor teeth you could get them upto 330-350 pre slice? get a lucky damage slice and 500md in the DWB would be very nice indeed eh!
