Thread: Please help new masterswordsman preparing for cu

I think you need to wait, not only are they talking about changing things. SOE is discussing giving us time to play with templates after the CU. I dont know if they will give you xp, or if they will let you play as a "similar" character for a week or so, but I think best thing to do is wait, do what you want to do for the time being. Things proposed, are never exactly as they eventually turn out....

Here is my question, I am thinking about mastering fencer before the CU, but I would then have to give up most of my medical skill.
The CU stated that most people will be able to heal themselves with stim packs but what does that mean for state attacks like disease. Is this going away or will disease just simply effect the single ham bar. Then will this be curable by non doctors?
The combination of Master Fencer/Master Swords would be a good offensive/defensive template, however I thought I read somewhere that defenses will not stack after the CU so that if you were holding a 2H weapon you would only get the defense bonuses from the swordsman line. Does anyone know if this is true.
Bottom line, do you think my current teplate will serve me better after the cu or should I get master fencer while the XP is relatively easy to get.
I know a lot of the cu is uncertain, I just wanted to rely on some of you who follow it a little closer than I do.....
