Could anyone with some experience help me understand the profession a bit more?

Main questions I have:

What is the difference between warcry and intimidate? Should I use them both when I start off a battle? Should I use them again 11 seconds later?

I see everyone talking about spamming the mind bleeds. I can take down a tortur with Viscous strike (2hand hit 2) long before the first tick of mind bleed goes off. Are people just applying the bleeds and letting their pets tank? Last night I tried stacking the mind bleed with mind hit 2 and it still seemed to take longer to kill the mob then if I just spammed 2 hand hit 2. Comments please.

Currently i'm 0.1.1.1 and planning on training the techniques line first. This would focus me squarely on the head hits, however I usually hunt with people who do mostly health/action damage. Is there another template I can use to remain effective as a group member, or is it time to set out alone and focus on the mind's of my targets?
