Can anyone confirm this? After damage mitigation is the Cleaver the best weapon?

No the PH still does more damage, but at a slower speed, with less accuracy. I did the calculations on the best PH and cleaver I could find, and then calculated with a 30% slice. The PH did about 100 more average damage at a slower speed. I am not so sure on the speed calculations to see if the cleaver is actually better. The cleaver did bridge the gap some, instead of the range difference being 182 it is 100.

What about the two-handed axe? Very high minimum damage, and better accuracy modifiers (+15 onmy two-handed axe instead of the -7 onmy cleaver)

I got my new power hammer sliced, its now the basic attack you get for normal hammers with 3.6 speed and -28 modifiers, its the same speed as my current cleaver lol, quite happy with the slice I got

So..... Powerhammer may still be more powerful but if Im going to get more hits in with the cleaver, wouldnt that be better?

What is a good speed for a cleaver?

are you guys mostly hitting other melee classes? in PvP I'm often burstrunning to take down ranged attackers, and most of them don't have melee damage mitigation.

on a related note, does damage mitigation apply to bleeds?
