While we are on the topic, how would a Master sword / Combat Medic 4/0/0/4 / Doctor 3/0/0/0 build work ? I'v tried searching for it on the forums, but there's not much input on this build.

the melee and ranged defense isnt near as important as state defenses in my experience ...
here is my template for pve
mswords
mbrawler
medic 3340
scout 3030
TK 4000
and i do fine against most everything in the game ...
about the only change i would reccomend if you are worried about dizzy and such ... drop the TK and some of the scout (1000) and get novice doc instead

instead of xx4x in medic I'd do 4xxx with the injury treatment you can heal like stim c's if you have good enough stim b's

2030 medic works great if you can find somebody to get you adv component stim Cs...they endup around 650 power and the fist aid lets you boost that more and stop bleeds.

Here's mine: Master swordsman/master brawler/tk 0304/fencer 2040/pikeman 0040/ medic 2030. I get lots of defense vs. dizzy wich come in handy when fighting nightsisters and i can heal over 1000 points of damage. If anyone does see a weakness in it as far as PVE goes i would like to hear about it.

Agree Terrain Neg in PvE is almost a must have... PvP it really doesn't matter

I dont see why terrain negotiation is a must have in pve. As far as novice doc goes i dont see why that is so popular eathier. With all my def. vs dizzy i very rarly get dizzied and if i do i recover very quickly.(once or twice in the past 3 days hunting NS)So the problem just fixes itself.

its just personal taste ... i prefer to not crawl up a hill while chasing a running mob ... and like to heal a state when i get it .. instead of taking the chance of that NS elder knocking me down while beating away on me with a stun baton
