I noticed a huge skew in XP gains as I rose up to master swordsman. High end mobs xp gain increased dramatically and low end mobs xp decreased even worse. I have never seen this in the ranged professions before. Swordsman is my first melee profession.

At novice mobs that gave 4 - 4.3k per rose to over 5k each at master.

Mobs that gave under 4k at novice dropped to below 500xp each at master.

Intentional?

Ive not noticed this. How many people in your group and how much total damage you do to a mob tends to effect the xp number though and is most likely what you are seeing. It is natural for xp from the same mobs to decline, but nothing like what you are describing.

Actually this is when I am solo that I see this. In a group I tend to get the same XP as if solo.

It's true...the same regular Huurtons that used to give 4k xp before master give ~500 at master. Hit up Dath for xp if you're fs grinding
