If I was a master riflemen and a master swordsman, if I was useing my sword would my Ranged midigation still work??? Same goes for if I was using my rifle.

From what I've seen yes. My friend is a master rifleman/swords and I am all melee. I get hitalot hard if the mob turns to ranged damage then he does.
