Thread: Geo Cave advice

Just looking for tips from fellow heavy swordsmen and wondering how far you've been able to progress in the geo labs. I'm master heavy swordsmen and TKM also working up fencer. Heavy swordsmen is my preferred fighting profession though.
It took me a few trys with cloning and then thinking more carefully about what I was doing but this morning I did get all way to acklay.
I wasn't running past things and no exploits but I was fully buffed and power boosted. I did run past the last two rooms though as I didn't like the look of them also I heard that it was possible to get those two roomsagro each other but that didnt work for me.
So it was funny fighting acklay with about 15 other mobs around me I lasted quite a while though. Is it possible for a heavy swordsmen to take out those two rooms before acklay ? Is it possible to get the run through agroing method to work ?
I don't expect to solo this dungeon but i'm having fun seeing how far I can get with it soloing just looking for tips before I try again.

I made it to the Acklay but died promptly. I'm a wookiee with no armor!!! I was buffed and was popping brandy and muon like crazy... I have good stims too so I kept myself healed up.
It should be easier now (at least for me) that they fixed the HAM bars.

i was visiting geocave last time with my friend (almost Master Bounty Hunter) and the whole cave was so simple (except droidekas for me).... Cause most of creatures there has no electricity protection

swordsman bh combos are great in there i can solo everything bar the acklay room as a master swordsman master doc but a bh does help for the droidekas cause if swordsman is your onlycombat prof those droids hit you hard. i buff my self, cause i'm doc my mind regen stats are pretty high so i go through with 2 brandys on pretty much constantly and take some canapes when needed to buff my mind regen above the speed i lose it at, and stim e's are a good send if i'm getting aggroed by5 kilikniks i can spam area 3 and heal if i really need it in one stim use but the acklay room is not really possible solo unless your lucky, if everything aggros the acklay you can take out the small stuff first like the spiders and odd the kwi then join in onthe acklay with the other creatures and once it's dead hopefully everything else will be sufficently damaged so that you can take it out, but usually you'll find your self aggroed by several creatures often kwi's and kilikniks with kwi's being the worse because they constantly intimidate you which messes up your damage output.

I have never soloed the entire cave. Mainly cause I dont want to take the chance for nothing. I do recommend you get 2 more friends to join you.
As a master heavy swordsman you will be able todamage easilypretty much everything in there. The only problem is your defence and your mind. So get a good doc or cm ... and someone else that can tackle lots of dmg. My favorite combo is Bounty hunter(for dmg) or Teras Kasi (for defence) / Doctor / And you.

soloing the cave is very poosible but not easy. Get buffed and have some great kinetic comp armor. The only way i can do it now that warcry is gone, is to have an imperial shield gen also. this make the dmg i take next to nothing.
