from what ive heard, yes. a particularly viable template is the triple elite mastery.

yep, since they can wear you down.

but if you have a good, balanced group, with a cm or two, i would still take the triple elite mastery, since you can burst run into the middle of the fray and /bind a few people here, /advanced lunge a few people there, etc etc. you can help your group out more with those attacks.

^what he said

Yes, you can be very effective in PvP with some on the ball CM's to heal you or a jedi or two with an eye on your HAM, but solo PvP you're done for against anyone that can heal themselves better than you can. I currently have the triple mastry template and love it, but that's because I have some good jedi/CM friends to keep me on my feet. Without them I die, FAST, but death is an inevitability of life, afterall.

I think I found something better than triple mastery.

Master Fencer / Master Swordsman / Master Brawler / Pikeman 4400 / TK 0100

More speed, more defense, more accuracy, AOE attack and AOE knockdown. And on top of that, you still get the TK improved CoB.

So just add in some Stim-D's and Ruby Bliel and you're set. A kashyyk fencer weapon would probably work best here, unless you have a nice polearm.

Only drawback I see is that not having MTK innate armor means I have to purchase some.

yes, butsome of the largest reason people go triple master is 1. no need to buy armor and 2. powerboost.

oh, and did I mention it works great in a group? seriously, adrenal boost is awesome. You hit noticeably faster, and you dont lose quite as much action with the other buffs... coupled with some action regen food and some pixie, you can go for a while.

Exactly, I'm never afraid of shredding my armor, cause it's innate, and Powerboost is amazing-once you've got it you'll never want to give it up. I do miss the AOE attacks, but then again, Iusually concentrate on keepin the big bad worst thing around hitting me instead of the rest of my group, so that means using taunt and the power hits.
