Thread: To MY profession
but havnt you made any friends on here, if you havnt youve been playin the game the wrong way, not that there is a defined wrong way. just go, hang out at a cantina a talk, its cool.
the game isnt all about killing things on hunts, going on missions, getting badges, joining in on pvp battles, ect, ect, ect... one of the largest catches of this game i would say is the role playing part of it. its the one thing i find hte most fun. and it is a mmo"rpg" so in essence it is a role playing game, which i said above... just not directly.
(this has little to do with 2H but we're a community so..)
I understand where both sides are coming from. After maxing out and having felt what I had was the perfect character.. complete with exotic homes, hundreds of outfits, many friends, and basically everything I ever wanted (glad my real life isn't like that!) I began to find myself at someone of a loss. I first told my PA about it and the feelings seemed somewhat shared.
It's true that there is a lot to be gained from social interaction but I am a pretty shy player. I'm helpful and friendly but I really can't cope the maturity level of the majority of the player base. Ironically my closest friends are like myself... they solo alot and even when we meet or are grouped there is a kind of silent understanding going on.. which is a kind of RPing in itself.
The driving force of most games or any game or sport for that matter is to become better and stronger and even more unique. I was so driven to get to where I am and when I got there I suddenly felt astrange chill and lack of vision.
I wasvery excited when the Holo thing came out but when I realizedthat it wouldn mean recreating my character and not continuing it Istartedquestioning where EVERYTHING inthe game was headed.
Asfor now I am in a holding pattern. I kill some FS mystics now and then and spend time on my two alts. I'm trying to start a character on test center.
well this kind of went off courseand I almost didn't post it but.. theres something in there for someone I'm sure. ![]()
