Thread: If only one tree, which one to pick?
I'm not sure how the Offense/Defence trees will be by themsleves so I wasn't planning on either of them
The Finess tree is usefull for the extra accuracy but isn't really needed unless you use the powerhammer? Without Techniques, the powerhammer is too slow. The Mind Bleed is great but since my pets will mainly be doing health damage, is it really worth it?
The Techniques tree is great for the extra speed but do I really need it since the 2HCurved sword is already fast. I think you really only need this for the Powerhammer but without finess I doubt I'd even use the Powerhammer.
So, what tree would be best suited to fighting along side my pets?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
P.S. I'm a Wookie so I'm unable to wear armour.
Finese is Combat experience. Most swordsman end up finishing that about the same time they finish ALL the boxes. It's scaled that way. So yes.. that is our best tree but takes quite a while.
I would go with techniques for PvP since you get Mind Hit which we all know is incurable. Oddly the other two trees aren't much different in terms of specials (see the 860 posts here on that topic) but for overall tanking -defense would suit best.
But others may have a better idea.
I may just stay with techniques anyway because Battlemaster sounds cool
If I hit you 5 times in the time it takes you to hit me once, who would theoretically win that battle?
No matter how fast your weapon is, skill speed is always going to give you a boost to win, whether it is PvP or PvE.
If you dont use special attacks and prefer defense to offense, maybe the fencer line is more suited to you. They are masters of defense.
Dude, I'm a swordsman, and I hit FASTER then a fencer (believe it or not yes, yes I do) and let me tell you, I hit harder then any fencer I've met....So me getting hit by you 5 timed before I hit you once just aint going to happen...You can live in your fantasy world
