Swordsman do have a KD skill, its 2h lunge 2, but its in a messed up place. Swordsman Kd is a master brawler skill. How many swordsman do brawlers to master? not many. Tka's have their KD in the teras kasi tree. i think swordsman should too. If anything they should fill that empty finesse box by moving 2h lunge 2 into it.

Non, the empty finesse box thing has already been fixed on TC. Mind hit 2 was what belonged there. As far as master brawler goes, at MB you get a lunge 2 for each tree. Messing with brawler and removing skills from it is not a good idea. The biggest problem with the swordsman moves is that most of them do the same thing. I don't know if anyone noticed this, but two-hand sweep 2 and two-hand area attack 1 even have exactly the same description. This means thatthe two-hand area attacks 1 and 2are the same thing as two-hand sweep 2, while 3 only differs in that it can also blind. I don't think a KD is the way to go, as that is the pikeman's turf, but swordsmen should be able to do more than mind bleed, mind hit, regular hit, posture change.

yeah i agree swordsman need something other then mind hits. and messing with the brawler tree would upset some people but i strongly feel 2h lunge belongs in the swordsman tree. however your very right about needing more variety with moves. And about the finesse box fix on tc, if i understand correctly they moved mindhit2 to the empty finesse box? so then what replaces it in finesse 4? or is that box now nothing more then the acurracy bonus? if thats the case then it wasn't really worth bothering with. i thought there was another accuracy bonus missing in there or something, considering i'm a master swordsman and still miss far too much to be a master.

I am not a master brawler also but do get Knockdown pretty often with 2HD Hit 3

Problem is you do not get that til mastering

yeh its possible to get a KD quite often if u 2handhit3 till they're dizzy then lower posture with areahit3 or something

alternately u could just areahit3 to dizzy them, but if u lower their posture and dont dizzy them in ur first hit, u have to wait another 30secs till u can try again

As a master heavy swordsman on Chil and a novice one on TC, I agree that it sucks that we don't have a knockdown. You can't take the knockdown from Master Brawler tho and move it into Swordsman. All you would be doing then is hurting all the people who actually spent the time to master brawler. I will be the first one to say that swordsman needs some love but not at the cost of taking away from a profession that isn't overpowered. Just my 2 cents.

My post was not meant as a complaint or anything, i absolutly love swordsman the way it is and hope it doesn't get changed. We hit hard but aren't as strong defensivly as some other melee classes. But it balances out. I think its a very blanced class, unlike most. My post was justtobring it to the attention of people who think swordsman dont have a KD move. Andto let it be known that i think swordsman KD is in an odd place compared to the skill trees of other melee professions.Everyone tells me swordsman is cool "but i wont be a swordsman b/c they dont have KD". Aparently people think KD is the only way to win a fight. Well i for one think we swordsman can deal if we dont have master brawler.
