Thread: Thoughts on master swordsman/................
It's holocron bandwagoners, some say they taint the profession with their total disregard for the sword. There were also two movies that featured the use of Katanas "Kill Bill" and "The last Samurai" makes people wanna slice off feet or be Tom Cruise.
When I talked to my friend back in July about the game, I knew I wanted to be a two handed swordsman, and thats what I have been since my first day when I got one of those crummy wooden axes.
Cons:
Holochasers buying up our swords and hammers...
Seeing all the exploits and tags makes us not as rare as we used to be...
A community full of people who won't be here for very long and don't care what happens a month down the road because they'll be a Chef by then.
Pros:
I've seen a few people start on swordsman and love it completely and now they wanna stay and help us make it better
More demand for weaponsmiths to produce better swords and hammers.
More imput for seasoned players who can help us share knowledge and tactics
I don't think what you said about "holochasers" is universally true at all. I got master swordsman from my holo, and I have discovered an awesome profession I knew nothing about. I am not going to drop it for anything. I plan on sticking around, and really learning the profession.
So, there's no doubt that the profession is less exclusive than it once was because of the holos, but please don't disparage all of us and assume thatwe're all going to drop it for the next holo. This is a great profession to discover, and I am grateful my holo gave it to me.

My apologies. I missed what you wrote at the end. Given the inclusion of the Pros I believe you are right on.
