Hello to all you fellow swordsmen and swordswomen out there.

I just have a fairly simple question for anyone who can answer.

If I got ranged mitigation 2 and was using my two handed curved sword and i was hit by a ranged attack, would the ranged mitigation go into effect? Or does ranged mitigation only work if I'm holding a ranged weapon when i'm being attacked?

Yep it works no matter what. Its basically a passive skill like Melee Defense or Knock Down Defense.
