It comes down to your individual pvp skills and style as well as the environment you face them in. If you can use buildings etc.. then you have a good shot. Out in the open makes things much more difficult for you.

Title pretty much says it all, but I'm actually focusing on more the current FOTM template, that being some degree of MBH/Ranged with combat medic or some form of healing to fill in the gap.

I personally beat ranged 99% of the time. If they are master CM as well as ranged then it's about 60% of the time.

Ok, any other pvp tips?

While I'm a ways away from being done with my template, I've not played a melee class (Other than Jedi) in the CU. So I have a decent amount to learn about pvp as a melee in today's situation.
