Thread: Can I Counterattack with a Stone Knife equipped?

Hi all,
As in the title, I'm trying to find out if my Swordsman Counterattack mods will come into play if I have a Stone Knife equipped. Since this is a 'generic' weapon, not a Swordsman certed weapon, my gut feeling is that it won't.
The reason for asking is that I have an Exceptional Stone Knife (my only 'exceptional' loot off Elders 
) which has a +25 Counterattack mod on it (also Berserk +23 and Warcry +25). Whilst it is useless for inflicting damage, I thought it might be useful for base shutdown runs, or fleeing fromunpleasant combat situations.

Stone Knives are 1h Melee weapons I believe, so no
Looked like a nice loot too!

As I understand it, they're one of the 'universal' certifications. That is, even someone who doesn't have Novice Brawler is certified to use it (like CDEF pistols).
It looked like a nice loot until you see the damage, which is pitiful (and no DOT, either). Mind you, with HAM costs of 1/2/1, it certainly isn't tiring to use

Well, if you kill a janta and loot one, delete it (barring the fact that its good).
It should say what it is (1-h melee, 2-h melee, etc)
