I'm at swordsman 1/1/2/1 right now and I am itching to use my new Scythe. So can anyone give me any pointers on the best and fastest way to get Finesse 3?

I wish I had known that myself. Finesse is the combat points, isn't it?

I noticed thatoff-mission PvE hunting (the hurtons, shauputs, and such) gave good combat XP, for me anyway. Squill's outside of the cave, did too. Again, that's just what I did.

Yes, I did not know that until I notice how slow it was moving up after every kill compared to the other branches.

Buy a crate or two of C12 Frag grenades, go quenker hunting, and you'll be there in an hour or so.

why waste a scythe on grinding? i took 2 diff. 2 hand curved swords (both started out at 2.5 speed 250 damage) and was lucky and had one sliced for speed (to 1.8 speed 250 damage) and the other to damage (2.5 speed 300 damage) and i used the speed slice one till i was done with the swordsman speed tree, then switched to the damage slice one to finish grinding. b the time i was done with the speed tree, i was almost at finesse 4 (had 1-3 and about a 1/4 the way up box 4) i did this all in 1 day and didnt spend more then 50-100k on weapons. if you can get scyths for that cheap to grind with, by all means go ahead, it sure wont hurt any. but for me at the time, i only had 1 scythe and not enough money for more, so i used what i had and saved the scythe for brighter days. little did i know my freind would quit and deliver to me 6 scythes and 4 power hammers as well as lots of weapons he never sold or released (he was our guild weaponsmith. i also got a 400 gaffi and an ackley stun baton, executionar hack, etc...)

however, if you DONT plan on mastering swordsman, then what they say is correct. get some c12's and grind it out.

current template: Master Swordsman/ Master Brawler/ Master Fencer/ 4-0-0-1 tka +12 fs melee speed. speed capped 2 hand goodness.
