No one line is really worth it, the one line that is most importent is the techniques line (it has the speed). But without the accuracy line, you won't hit anything. You also won't get any counterattack or toughness. So in short swordsman isn't a good dabbler profession. Fencer is only worth dabbling in if you have another elite combat proffession. So if anything I'd get the power line of TK it gives speed and dmg but no accuracy or toughness. But go ahead and try out a few different temps and stay with what you like. Hope this helps.

Hello.
I just had a quick question... I've thought about taking up either Fencer or Swordsman, since I've always kinda had a thing for blades, and swords. Right now I'm a Pistoleer, but I'd like to try out some kind of blade combat.
Unfortunatley, with the template I am shooting for (Master Droid Engineer, Master Creature Handler), I will only have enough skill points left over for 1 tree of an elite combat profession.
I was just wondering what the most effective tree would be to go up in the Swordsman profession? I just took Novice Brawler last night, so I still have a bit to go before I get there. But I'd kinda like to have an idea of where I'm going before I get there.
Thanks in advance.

Prolly not the best choice to do 1 line in swords, personally, I think your best bet would either be fencer 0400, or teras kasi artist 0040.

Hope that helps
