How much do Scythes cost and what are good stats for one?\
Also do you have to be a swordsman to do the quest to get a scythe schematic?

Ok as for the costs, they usually 750k and up. The average stats, sorry I'm not sure but I would imagine the average speed is anywhere from 2.2-2.6 and the dmg mayeb 250-300 max possibly 150-200. Those are just rough numbers I'm not sure, and would place money on the fact, that they are not right. And finally no you don't need to be a swordsman to get the scyth quest, and remember that you can get to of them by going to the planet record keeper, behind the Mos Eisly cantina, and have him reset your quests. Don't you just hate it when you start to ramble...

although you do not have to be master swordsman to do the quest for the scythe scematic, you do have to have mastered one frofession. the mission is taking the scematic out of a chest that is guarded by a krayt dragon. if you want, i need to do the mission also. we can both do it and i will take on the krayt while you get the scematic. then we can do it again and again (clearing our history with that guy, until we get lots of scematics. i could auction them, all but 2, 1 for u and 1 for me, and we could split the money 50/50...or i could just help you get yours. either way, krays are easy abd so is the mission...pm me if interested

this is interesting news, as a tkm i did the krayt schematic quest and made it to the last thing with the krayt and the treasure chest. but then, once the treasure chest spawned the krayt did too, being the noob i was i did this krayt part unbuffed and died, chest despawned krayt was killed, and i'm without a schematic. i tried doing the record keeper thing and i still couldn't do the quest over again, but that might be because i didn't have a mastered profession at the time since i had dropped tkm... now that i've mastered swordsmen can i do it again do you think?
(BTW you can only have the record keeper reset you once)

....See that that does in PVP accuracy mods on hammer can SUCK and they don't on my scythe

I've already done both scyth quests, also you can also only clear the records once, so each person can only get 2 schematics. I'd be glad to help but I can't log in right now because I'm waiting for my gamecard to arrive, and I'm going to be going out of town for a few weeks.

Scythes come out at around 310-340 / 2.6 preslice. Depends on server resources and the yellows and paste you have in it.
Anything over 410 Max is a good scythe, one over 450 Max is a great one and anything over 480 is a outstanding one, of course this is before putting a pu on one.
Also your gonna want too look for one with +10 or greater mods as well on a great scythe.
Prices differ on each server, but I would estimate that a 410+ would be somewhere in the 2 mil range.

Yep he speaks the truth mine is 2.2 speed 422 max sliced without pup
