Thread: TKA/Swordmans Build
Hello, I need some advice from the master swordman out there.
Currently I am a Master Tailor almost TKA master, going into swordman to finish up my skill pts. Unfortunately I won't have enough (11 short) to master both TKA and Swordman. What are your advice regarding my build? What tree in TKA or Swordman should I drop? Also, I would like to know the averagedamage a master swordman (w/ 2HCS and PH) without special moves can inflict as that would help my finally decision. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

You will almost certainly outdamage a Teras Kasi Artist with the Swordsman line.
The great benefit I've seen to getting TKA is in the defenses (TK Masters give me a hell of a time in pvp, usually 50% either way depending on who lands what first).
I would suggest trying them both out since it sounds as if you are moderately high level in each to see which you like better and concentrating on one.
My current build is Master Monk (balance conditioning line) for the knockdown2 and resists, and Master Swords, along with some Doctor abilities. It works well for me. I don't have the best defenses butI will kill more people at once if they are close together than any other single non-swordsman I've run accross (the exception being a certain riflewoman).

Swordsman/Tka is interesting because you can pick and choose what you use. If you're being attacked, go tka, if you have a pet tanking, use swordsman. Use tka to stun and dizzy an npc or player, then whip out your sword and go balistic on their prone body...there's quite a lot of possibility for the class combination, and I have to say I'm rather enjoying it. ![]()
