I finally hit Master Two Hand Sword Specialist (Brawler tree) and I'm beginning to work on Novice Swordsman. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for getting good two hand sword experience. I currently have a decent 2h-curved, plus a powerhammer waiting for me to hit Novice.

I'm not wearing armor at the moment because my HAM costs seem to be expensive as it is when swinging the sword, that might be why I go down so quickly though. Should I be using a certain tactic like Intimidate, Posture down, headshot, headshot, headshot repeat?

Any tips on fighting and the best monsters to fight would be much appreciated.

Might I recommend Dantooine? Get a group with a higher level medic, if possible, and someone with knockdown.

Then look for Huurton Stalkers. These things give you around 4.5-4.8k exp per kill. With your two other friends, it'll be worth it to forget about armor, and you will get around 75% of the exp. (the missions are around 9k, so search for those on the mission terminal). I earned 1.4 million exp over just two days (not even two full days, more like two 4-5 hour sessions with two really good partners.) Finding someone who's a creature handler also helps, since then they will be happy to use their creatures as meat shields while you do the damage. in my group, everyone got the exp. they wanted. I got the lion's share of the combat and weapon exp, my creature handler friend had all the creature handler exp as well as a steady stream of pistol exp from pistol whipping and doing warning shots, while the novice doctor had heart palpitations healing the creature handler and I. We've leveled like crazy, and in one week I've reached Master Heavy Swordsman.
