Or maybe they are dizzy from the bloodloss caused by the massive damage we do with it!

Just kidding, it definitely applies dizzy. It seems however that the only other state-applying skill is Area3 and that is supposed to apply blind. Don't they ever update their in-game documentation?

I am fine with adding dizzy in Area3, since it means we can spam that attack and essentially get a knockdown. However adding dizzy to Hit3 doesn't make sense in that regard. I would prefer that it added a different afffect, like blind or stunned. Since dizzy doesn't help us as much when we don't have a specific posture changing attack.

IfI want to knock a person down I am not going to do Hit3 and hope for dizzy and then switch to Area1, 2, or 3. I am going to simply do Area3 over and over. So, while I am not complaining about the dizzy affect,I wish it was something more useful. Given that it does such immense damage, stun makes sense.

Hit3 being a bleed hit sounds like it would make sense. I dont think the developers would do it though.

Has anyone else noticed that the Two Hand Hit 3 (the one from Master Swordsman) sometimes applies a dizzy effect on an opponent?

At first I thought it was just the dizzy from the Area Attack 3 I often use, but then on several creatures I did just the Two Hand Hit 3 for testing and it dropped dizzy on them now and again (not always but often).

Has it always been like this or is this a recent undocumented change? The description for the attack says nothing about dizzy, just enhanced damage.

A Health or Action bleed would be nice on Hit3 in my opinion now that we have mind bleed in the Finesse line.
