Regular attacks hit a random pool. In my experience they usually hit health, sometimes action, and rarely mind.

Regular attacks do not cost the attacker and H/A/M to perform.

Then is it the 2 Hand specials that hit mind?

Some, but not all specials target the mind pool. Specifically, 2 handed head hits damage the mind pool, and 2 handed mind hitscause mind bleeds. Riflemen have similar skills (head shot, mind shot). Bounty hunters have eye shot, and I believe TKAs alsogain the ability to target mind eventually.

Those are the only ones that actually hit the mind pool only.

The rest of the Swordsman specials hit random pools

What is a "mind bleed". how does it work and how will we see the effect?

i'm a master swordsman and never use any of themind/head special moves, i never saw them do too much.

- I support the proper use of common sense when it comes to re-developing games which are nearly two years into their tenure...evidently this sentiment is not shared by those that finance this game.

"Mind Bleed" is basically where you have a Bleed DoT applied to the mind pool.
