The guy told me he had 3 of the 4 trees filled. What happend was this. I went overt in anchorhead as there was an incoming Imp raid. Well it didnt materalize so I went back covert. Of course you have to wait an hour to go back to covert or die. I went to mos espa on my way to my final destination dathimir. There was a pistoleer right outside camping to pick off rebel overts. He yelled there is a Reb lets kill him. Calling all Imps. Well I thought ok im gonna be cannon fodder. What I did was hide inside around the corner. He comes barreling in and runs right by me and im taking damage pretty steadily. I have my stacked bleeds macroed. I burst ran toward him and to my amazement he stopped just long enough to stack those bleeds on him. Realizing this he quikly ran away from me and outside into the open yelling help!!. I stayed inside and hid like a coward. I literally watched his blue drain very quickly. He only made it 100 meters before he dropped. I walked up and DB'd him.

Man did that feel good. Im so sick of being kited to death. I just can't wait until they give us enough range to hit while moving. It will be glorious....

awesome morath.

but are u serious, uve never beaten a pistoleer before(1 on 1 of course)

now im no kendred *snicker* but even before i went carbineer and only used my swordsman skills in pvp i beat a ranged around 1/3 of the time, of course that was pre kd patch.

i killed a few high level pistoleers as a low level swordsman, granted it was close, and yes they did kite me.

same with most type of ranged users, but when i got my chargeshot, things turned around for good

Very nice

I'd a lot of fun a few nights ago when rebels attacked Theed (I'm imperial myself). I died, and went to the cloning fac ... 3 rebels also died. In the tiny area downstairs in the cloning center, I fought 3 guys -a commando, a rifleman and a pistoleer (i think). In the closed space they didnt have room to move, and I took out each one of them in 1 or two hits with my PH. Once dead, they'd be cloned again and we'd continue on. Of course I died myself too a few times, but close range, we're amazing

Inside, we can beat anyone. Took out a BH, a Commando and a few other people tonight in the Cantina. Outside, use burst, use cover, and if worse comes to worse, get at least a bleed on them.

If you are a Master Brawler also then you can beat Commandos period. Their special attacks have only a 15 meter range and, guess what, our 2HLunge2 has a 15 meter range too.

One knockdown is all it takes for a Master Swordsman to kill any other class in the game.

Good job using the terrain Morath.

See, that kind of fighting is what I'm talking about.

Us swordsmen need to get out of the traditional 'charge through an open field a la Braveheart' mentality and realize that against firearms it is TACTICS and not being a coward to hide behind cover and rush in buildings.

OK, what do you mean by "using Terrain"???

whenever i have tried to duck behind a boulder, or down in a ditch, they always shoot throught them. so i eventually have to get up and run after them because i'm getting shot anyway. These are NPC's by the way.
