any opinions??

o and i was a little unclear, the bh and the pistoleers mods wouldnt stack, since they would be considered different weapons. same goes for the smuggler/pistoleer and bh/carbineer.

in reverse, without nerfing them, what could your idea do for us?

still didn't totally understand since I don't know much about pistol/bh etc. (never fired a gun..heh, well once and it jammed)

ive posted my idea elsewhere but thought that i would share it with my swordsman brethren.

this is a post about how to stop the unbalance ofthe classes that use the same type of weapon and both get mods, i.e: carbineer/bh, pistoleer/bh, and smuggler/pistoleer. i dont know of any other cases of this, but if u know of any other classes that share weapons that use the same mods please tell me.

anyways, ill use pistoleer/bh as an EXAMPLE

there are a lot of pistoleers who pick up bh for the mods and specials, and a lot of bh's that pick up pistoleer for the same reason. how about if the bh "pistol" line wasnt considered as a pistol, and had seperate mods and specials. so a the pistoleer/bh wouldnt benefit from both mods effecting one type of weapon, and their accuracy and speed isnt thru the roof. they could still switch guns and to use different specials, but this would be a chore, and discourage dabblers. this would also discourage dabblers because they would have to go all the way up the skill line to be able to use the weapon relatively effectivly.

the same would apply for all those classes that currently benefit from this, of course.
