What weapon should I use before and after I'm able to use the PH?

you possibly could but i'd NOT suggest you try... as novice swordsman your damage output DOUBLES!! so i suggest you not try gbn's till you at least hit novice swordsman!!

and as far as the power hammer it's not usefull untill you hit master of sword techniques which by that time you have most of your speed modifiers to the point where you are almost on the speed cap of 1 second...

untill then it's best to usea HIGHLY powered 2hand cleaver or 2hand curved sword

i personally suggest the cleaver with it at the highest damage STILL has less ham cost than the 2hand curved sword and just as fast and almost as much damage

specials normally kill swordsman FAST especially with powerhammer and 2hand curved swords

novice swordsman with 4.0 speed PH, any idea what i should fight now?

uhhhh.. nothing, well chubas and gnorts maybe. dude, your a novice swordsman with a power hammer. not to insult you, but that isnt to smart. the speed is to high, the accuracy to low, and the ham on health way too high (since your specials dont do enuf damage. you really need a 2-hand curved, it has worse ham than the others because of the action multiplier, but is fast as hell as does awesome damage. use berserk before every fight and you can solo femanle nargs easy. also syck missions on tatooine are good for xp, and tortun missions on talus. but my personal favorite place for hunting was rori.

I wouldn't kill anything that high level cause you're still xp capped at 3500 or whatever. You should instead find 5k hps mobs that give you 3k xp and kill those.
