Thread: I'm getting REALLY tired of mobs running away just before I kill them...

Ok, so I'm on Lok, and I'm taking out a Perlek lair, and I get the scum down to about 100 mind, and it starts flying away, so I'm trying to chase after it but can't get it, so I got a BIT too close to a bunch of kusaks and they beat me down... is this annoying anyone else?

Smack a bleed on late in the fight as a 'just in case' measure.
Course once you have Master Finesse you can just stack bleeds and have them bleed the entire fight too.

Well lunge is an option if you can get it off before they're 15m out.

Yep, first box of finesse is a bleed, and it uses combat xp not swords xp, so you should have it before you get to the 2nd box of anything, or if you haven't done any marksman training, you should have it by time you hit novice swordsman.

how are you a 3rd tier swordsman working on 4 and able to take on perleks, were you soloing, or do are you another elite combat profession. when i started soloing perleks was novice bralwer with defense tier 2. well you can use a curved now, but still, wouldnt your mind attacks and defense still be to weak?? did you have doctor buffs, itchin to know
