im master swordsman

i dueled a tkm the other day..i COBed myself and went in knowing he was gonna kd dizzy. He didnt hit me once, he tried to do kd/dizzy alot of times and at the end his HAM was gone,i didnt even use specials...we did this a couple times and i always won

Bah a fluke or a horrible TKM.

Though I cannot say too much, I am currently grinding out swordsman as I speak.

spam knockdown/dizzy then spam specials.

Sounds like a bunch of professions (and whiners) out there.

If it works the loser complains and cries nerf if it doesn't the special spammer complains about COB and cries nerf.

And the cycle continues. . . .

hmm... i dont know, i have been lucky as far as knock down dizzy goes... i have master swordsman, master brawler, 2/0/0/3 tka, novice fencer, and novice pikeman, and if i get hit by the knockdown dizzy i tend to get back up right afterwords and the dizzy dissapears, and i can keep fighting... is it because of the knock down and dizzy defenses i have picked up???

Im a TKM and I usually dont even bother with KD in PvP anymore. Ever since people started flocking to TK most have picked up KD defense mods rendering KD pretty much useless. I stick to warcry and stat effects most of the time now.

You just got lucky man, I think they secretly nerfed us... I used to do 300 - 400 damage with headhit3 in PvP and now I do 100..... I duel a novice tka and got owned. He was only novice and I was 0/4/1/4 tell me why I didn't win and my hit only did 100 damage when our proffession is suppoed to have the biggest hits

sometimes they do miss.

just don't count on it happening a lot unless you have other elite skills

It wasn't a secret nerf, it was Damage Mitigation. You were probably usinga curved sword or PH that have large damage ranges. Try the Cleever. Much more narrow range of damage.

lucky for you that guy was freakishly retarded. If he had used intimidate u would have been screwed.

If you think about it though, your opponent was not fighting smart. He basically sealed his own fate trying to make that KD/Dizzy stick, pretty much draining his own HAM.

But in the end it's whoever is left standing that counts

Swordsman > TKA now.
