Thread: Scout Exploration Tree Needed for PVP?

In your opinion, is exploration tree needed, terrain negotiation, in order to PVP. I am working my template to keep explore 3, so i can keep some speed, chase after kiters, but do you find its needed? If you don't have it, do u wish u were faster?



Preholo Scout, Opened Holo, Swordsman, did Brawler before finished swordsman. Next holo, Artisan, finished. Next, entertainer, finished. Next, silent. Now medic for fun.

It definitely helps... It's not really necessary if you fight in cities most of the time, though.

For the most part in pvp you dont need it. Most pvp either takes place in cities, which are mostly flat, or around a base. Since bases have to be built on fairly flat ground, you should be fine without scout. What sucks is when you do decide to hunt and lose your ride 4k from anything resembling a camp or city. If this happens in a mountainous region it's gonna be awhile before you get back to civilization.


Exploration is a bit of a convenience that could be replaced by either more medic or something useful, like entertainer. Heal your own wounds and battle fatigue and be completely indeppendent the way this game wasn't meant to be played.

Exploration is very good to have but definately not worth the points now when you have vehicles and mounts and all. As previous posters stated, if you fight in cities it's almost never neccessary. And if you're not, you probably have your vehicle nearby. But have both a mount and a vehicle, so you can enter a house and call your mount if your vehicle goes *poof!*
