Thread: AA help please guys

just won the auction of an AA with +14 unarmed damage, + 7 2handed speed.


just by sticking this to clothing, will i get the speed mod, or do i have to try to get rid of the unarmed damage?

also, with it being an AA, when the piece of armour finally reaches 0 condition, will i lose the mod?

you have to get rid of the unarmed mod for the 2hand speed to work, there is a way of doing that i think but im not sure what it is.

As for where to put it - a Pre-publish 10 Ubese vest would be best, or Ubese Bandolier as these dont currently degrade.. If you put it in say a Bracer, the mod will stay but you'll be stuck with a piece of armour that offers no protection, but you have to wear for the speedmod.. currently that's no biggie due to the 4-piece comp bug, but I assume (if it IS a bug) that it'll be fixed in oooh 6 months time.. ^_^

thx grace, but are you postive it wont stick, cos i thought they both would so i'd end up with unarmed +14 and the +7 speed, i hope i'm not wrong grrr lol

you are wrong,i am sorry to say


you will have to first put in an attachement with +14 or higher unarmed speed and then ad this attachement in order for the +7 to stick

I'm sure, unfortunately as they work atm only the highest mod sticks - unless the clothing you're putting it in already has a higher number on the same mod.. so if u had a bracer with +15 UA dmg and put that AA in it, u'd end up with +15 UA dmg/+7 2hand Melee Speed. good luck finding a high UA dmg AA

only thing you can put a AA in with no condition is a mandolarian belt pre patch

pepatch ubese no condtion itemstakes CAs now

yeah, what ppl have said before is correct, the +14 will stick, unless you get another AA with a +14 mod or higher of the same type (I've had to do this so I guarantee it works) also if you are looking to put it in a pice of armor, I would suggest either a bracer or bicep...I've put attachments into both my bracers and biceps as I don't have room for them anywhere else, and atm at least I don't notice that I am getting hit for any more damage than with fully working bracers/biceps (the ones I have are now at 0). But as someone mentioned before, this could be fixed in the future, but the way I look at it, if it is lets say 6 months down the road, you can use that +7 speed to kill NS etc, and most likely find yourself another one to use later.

Apologies, didn't know they fixed pre-patch vests/bando's too.. Are marabi belts still classed as armour or do they now take CA's like the Ubese kit?

Mabari belts still take AA.s

Actually, the belts still take AA's. Post publish 10, i have put AA's into several belts. I haven't put any in post 11.
