Thread: Any of you armor-wearing swordsmen seeing INSANE degradation on your armor?

I've also noticed that my chitin armor has broken down pretty quickly...after a week of use the components have 2000-6000 out of 19k condition. I know it's supposed to be realistic and armorsmiths need a market, but I can't afford to buy a new set every two weeks without mission grinding. Oh well...chalk it up to yet another case of the game being balanced around marksmen.

Maybe its low quality armor?

Maybe, maybe not...it's some of the best armor I've found on the server. Unless there's some hidden stat that determines the rate at which armor decays...all the armor pieces I've seen hover around 19k condition.

30 minutes of heavy fighting with high white and low yellow cons will knock off around 2k con on some of my armor pieces....is this just me?

But, yes your armor gets trashed fast. I recommend just buying cheap (good quality though) suits of Chitin for PvM. Don't bother with expensive Composite...save that for PvP.

You can get it repaired. No need to buy a whole new set.
