Strength has no effect on your damage if thats what you were wandering -

strength effects two things -

1) it effects how much damage you take in the Health Pool. If you have a 50 for Strength, and get hit for 60 pts of dmg in the chest, for Health Damage, you take 60 pts of dmg. Now if you had 100 strength, and get hit for 60 pts of dmg in chest, for health damage, you take 30 pts of dmg. It basically lesser the amount of damage done to you

2) Lowers the cost on Special Skills that use Health Pool. So same thing above, you use a skill that costs 100 health Points, yet you have a 50 for Strength. You upped your strength by 50 pts, and now you use that same skill, and maybe it only spends 70 health points.

- You can also look in your SWG Manuel that came with the game, it has the offical saying, and i will say it for you -

Strength ( Health Drain Rate ): Determines the "burn rate" for any actions that drain from the health pool, like using a special melee attack. The stronger a character is, the less health he or she loses when performing strenuous activity.

Volla , hope that answers your question.

Disclaimer: Heh, those figures arent even close, just trying to give you some idea what Strength is about.
