Swordsman Archive

I have started a new charcter and had been curious if swordsman were armor or just clothes. Also interested in if they can hit more than one target. SPin attack I beleive what it is called. On the specials for swordsman what ham bar does it drain from?

I started out wearing a full suit of chitin. When I hit novice heavy swordsman, I took off most of it (still wearing legs and boots I think), for no reason really, just wanted to wear a spec ops duster. I haven't really noticed a difference other than that I heal a lot quicker, and don't have the HAM penalties. Right now, I have no plans to put armor back on unless I see a real advantage to it, which I don't so far.

And yes we do have some area attacks, sweeps and spins.

and i'm a bothan with tons of action/quickness. lol

With full Chitin I was getting hit for a significant amount of less damage. I made a better main tank in the groups I was in because I could tank reds longer without draining the medics mind. On average I would was subtracting 30 to 60 a hit.

turn the combat messages on, you will see great improvement wearing good chitin. With 18% kinetic chitin it tells me something like:
- mob hits you for 153 damage
-- your leg armor absorb 125 Damage

anyway, you shouldnt wear it all the time. Just put every peace on extra button bar and and you can change clothes/armor even in battle in few seconds.
