As of right now, whats the best weapon a Swordman can get and use? I have yet to buy a 2 handed sword and I have a Vibro Axe with these stats: Damage = 86-246 and Speed = 5.1

Should I drop an outragous amount for a 2 handed sword ?

I think it's got to be the 2 handed curved sword right now. As far as price if you on Bria Neede sells them for around 5K I can;t rember my stats but Max was 190 @ 3.1 speed.

or you can spend more.. (40k i did)

and get a 63-233/1.7

with battlemaster (attack +++) and berserk, i can deal 10k damage very very fast =/

tried dueling a graul yesterday.... no i didn't win. lol i forgot he has crazy armor (1 armor +50% kinetic resist)

but managed to take out 3k hp or so.. (considering i'm only doing 25% damage)

of course i had to heal myself 5 times while fighting =/ (thank god for cheap stim Bs)

...looking at those stats: you're not on Bria, are ya ?...hehe

Seawolvz - it is possible to get a sword at that damage (in fact my sword is max 246 (sliced)) But the minimum damage will be much lower, usually around 30-40 iirc. So you're going to do big damage, there will just be some smaller hits mixed in there. The upside though - the speed. You can hit 2-3 times with the sword in the time you swing the axe/hammer once.

So I would say, as of right now, 2h curved sword is the best. (at least until someone gets ahold of a scthye and we see its stats

thanks Capt, Kammi on the Lowca server has a lot of great 2 hd curved swords (at a cost of 20K) but the damage is around 188-234 and the speed is 2.1 (sliced already).............I'll give it a while and hang up the ol'axe for now...........

I am using a Lord Mortis 2 handed Sword that does 60-270 damage with 2.0 attack speed. This has been sliced.

I just picked up some 2hd curved swords on bloodfin from some dude who bought a load from caella and had em all sliced. I picked up two different ones. 1 is my power one, its like 310 damage max, with a min of ithink 80 something. @ 2.7 speed. I use this when i want to use a lot of specials. THe other is max d of like 244 but at 1.8 speed. The action ham is a hefty 67 on both. Paid 64k for both Yowzers!!!!!!!!!
