intimidated vs a melee stacker with my acklay PH, I do about 200-300 damage per hit. Unintimidated, that goes to 400-600. Not to mention that while intimidated I counterattack 5% of the time, while unintimidated that number increases drastically. My template is designed to be a solo template as well as group support, so I can go it alone vs any other class, and I can also help my group survive. I don't have to worry about CMs, or insane dot weapons, while soloing. My survivability and damage is unequaled by any other nonjedi template.


For you stackers, when you solo PvP, what happens when you run into a CM, or someone with a 700+ str dot weapon?

Well, I tried out the carbineer thing, and I haven't really noticed any difference (Gonna have to surrender it for the second time, lol).

I also tried out getting the most possible intimidate defense (65 + 25 from SEA's + 17 from Pyro), and it hardly did crap. Someone with intimidate 1, and no intimidate skill, would succeed like one out of every 3 tries. So my whole new template idea just went out the window, lol.

I think I'm going to go ahead and get doc. Not so much for the dot cures, but to be able to cure states. I don't seem to have much trouble against riflemen anymore, because they usually don't have mitigation and I can just intimidate them. My main crutch seems to be dizzy/KD, intimidate, and dots. With doc, you can heal all of those. And about the only thing a stacker template offers me over doc, vs jedi, is extra melee defense. But most good jedi will have good accuracy anyways, so it doesn't matter. And usually they target my health, so the ability to heal better will make a huge difference.

Against any melee, I think doc is the better template, because you can actually counterattack, if you heal intimidate.

I think for the time being, doc beats the stacker template for solo PvP. But if you have a good doctor with you, stacker is definately nice.

Now I'm just faced with the decision of keeping my FS ranged/melee defense, or surrendering them to get more medicine use skill (4/0/0/0 doc, with them trained.). Am I going to want more medicine use?

cool, i decided to go ahead n try a sort of hybrid pve/pvp/stacker template, master rifles, master swords, pistoleer 0040, and 0040 med (im able to use stim e's) its pretty nice, i can solo just about anything, im rifle speed capped, almost at sword speed cap, and im a terror in pvp, stun gun + intimidate + war cry, and if it gets hairy and a jedi is on ya, switch to swords, well you get the idea, plus you get a nice +70 dizzy defense +75 kd resist, its not that great i suppose, but its decent. my old build was master pikeman master brawler, (speed capped btw) pistoleer 0040 fencer 0440 med 0040.... that again is pretty nice, for a dot whore tempalte, +120 dizzy/kd resist aswell as high other states, with that i could never ever ever be dizzy'd, impossible. another build i would think is decent would be 3040 doc, or 4030 doc (your preference between higher use or disease heal) from here you can either go pistoleer 0040, or fencer 0440, both give you the same dizzy/kd resist in the end, however fencer would give ya 1 point to spare lol plus a few other noticeable things... like +40 def vs intimidate (yipee) and state heals/fire/poison/etc. its pret cool i suppose cuz it would take a few hits to dizzy you, then in that time you just shrug it off with a heal, if you got havla its even nicer ^_^, then they just get pissed i suppose, but yea id prefer to have rifle/swords/pistoleer overall because with that it gives you a nice variety of weapons, damage types, kite ability, close quarter combat etc, and both mitigations aswell
