I totaly agree. I dont want a BETTER weapon, just one that looks like a sword. Someone mentioned after combat rebalance there might be a master version of the two handed curved sword. That sound perfect to me. Now... if only it was about 5 feet long...

i mean..look at all the animals and items
stintaril and that correlian rat are the exact same thing

then theres the items in the bottles, like krayt tissues look just like 20 other items in bottles
besides, all they will never improve swords
--nerf bleed, hits swords the most
--we get a new weapon(hack), which is worse then a survival knife /sarcasm off

Lol, u must be kidding. Be Fencer, then as fencer, u will use a lot of swords. Or maybe u will use a riot club and a rusty pipeline (graffi).Yeah, that "swords" are far cool-looking than the scythe, the hammer or the hack.
Anyway,which tree should i get first to get swordsman. 0000 atm, just picked it yest.

And actually i agree with FtB. Don't see only "the title". Try to see the profession.
2 handed weapons...with strong attacks...and with cyrcle lunges (lots of spins and areaattack).
That will probbaly bo more caracteristic of a mayal, a maze, more heavy thingies.Very funny when peep says the hammer is a 50lb steel thing and then when u see them making a /cheer with one on their hands. Very "heavy" looking indeed
And the scythe is just a HUGE sword, u cannot handle a 2meter sword unless u're on a horse (old chavalry swords), so please don't make a braveheart sword as tall as a wookie(someone said that too), so it's quite normal that the sword make the form the scythe have to can handle it.
And for finishing (i'm boring even myself
) at least ur weapons look cool (see the graffi stick again)

although i love the Scythe i also love the 2handed groove sword, which i would love to see as a better weapon then the scythe
