Please do not regard his post, it is not the best swordsman template. The best swordsman template PvP wise is

With this template, you are completely self-sufficient. You don't have to buy or repair armor (using TKM's innate armor), and you don't have to pay anyone to buff you.

Your all talking about TKA, Pikeman etc... What about Master Swords, Master Fencer, Doc 4xxx.
I seem to be doing serious damage,never really suffering any major damage even when swarmed by lvl 82's(RIS armor 6k Resists). Also using the blade of nyinthioris i have a dps of 679.
I think this template is pretty amazing, when combined with the right combination of foods, spices and specials attacks im pretty much unhittable and lightning fast.
What you all think of this temp?
swordsman is high on cost. i was die hard swords pre-CU, and i'm still in love with melee trees. i couldn't give up swordsman totally, so here's my template. which honestly allows me to be quite savage, the only down fall is that i don't wear armor. a swordsman or melee stacker that wears good armorbreak gear is always a handful.

i use katarn knucks fully sliced, that gives you nice kin dmg with low sac cost. i was thinking about dropping a line of swords to pick up pike 0040 for warcry and intimidate, just for some debuffing. all in all with inate armor and CoB i do quite well with the heals and buffs.

I just dont get it, WHY do people go tka? the ONLY reasons for going tka i can think of are improved cob and saving money from buying armor... seriously with tka +60 innate defense thats only the equivalent of 6000 stat armor.... ive got 6000 stat armor and since i didnt blow all my skill points on worthless tka, ive got improvedintimidate (-30% dmg) and improved warcry (-40 speed) which makes peoples dps WAAAY lower on me than with +500 cob, cause even though i dont have improved i still have the basic 250.... seriously guys, stop going tka its WORTHLESS

my current temp. ismdoc, msword, brawler 0440, mmedic, after just logging back in for the first time since the CU.. (yes, i have been completely away for months!!) i have the chance to respec my temp. now, and i am looking fora good solo pve template.. any suggestions?? i still have afew million creditslaying around, so armor isn't that big of a deal to me.
for non armor.. how does Master Doc, Master Swords, 0200 TK sound for pve only solo tank??? i have 2 fs boxes already to take the rest..

Rest is wasted in FS-Skills
With this you can pretty much solo anything short of Necrosis, given that you use Bliel, Stims, Food ect. The great plus you get from Pikeweapons is the very low action costs while still dealing the same amount of damage as a master swordsman. Add a damage/speed slice plus a SAC pup to that and you can spam specials all night when using action regen foods.
I've gone over to giving the Knucklers of katarn a try with a full damage slice plus 1 in both speed and crit. So far i'm liking it. The damage I do is a bit lower than with Pikes but the speed is incredible.
Having TK and Pikeman makes you just about the toughest tank in the game. Use CoB religiously, add intimidate onto your oppenent and maybe a stun and they do close to no damage at all. I'm talking pvp here. Jedi can be a handful with avoid incap, but you can stand toe to toe with most of them. Fighting ranged is a bit harder. Only chance is to burst run and KD/Armourbrake/Impale/Headhit/Impale then they usually are dead. Problem here is actually GETTING close enough since you don't have any snare abilities like fencer.
